About the Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking Gen AI Lead to drive AI-led transformation across enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, NLP, and hands-on experience building scalable Gen AI solutions. This is a strategic and technical leadership role tailored for innovators who can convert business challenges into AI-powered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of Generative AI initiatives across multiple business units.
Design, architect & implement solutions using LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, and NLP models.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and create actionable roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership for model fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment & optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Data Engineering, Cloud, Product & Enterprise Architecture.
Ensure AI solutions meet compliance, data governance,



and security standards.
Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and developers.
Stay updated on advancements in Gen AI, MLOps, AI frameworks and industry trends.

Required Skills & Expertise
8–12 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in Gen AI.
Solid hands-on skills with LLMs (GPT, Llama, Claude, etc.), Transformers, RAG pipelines, Vector DBs (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma).
Expertise in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, HuggingFace).
Experience building AI apps on Azure/AWS/GCP (Azure preferred for Birlasoft).
Solid understanding of data engineering pipelines, MLOps, CI/CD for AI.
Experience leading AI teams & delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
Excellent analytical, communication & stakeholder management skills.

Positive to Have
Azure AI Engineer / OpenAI / AWS ML certifications
Experience with conversational AI, chatbots & automation
