nWe are hiring experienced, certified Senior Same Day Surgery Medical Coders with extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, units from the medical record documents and excellent communication skills.

n

nResponsibilities:

n

n⦁ A minimum of the last 5+ years’ experience required coding medical records for Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Specialties which must include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Cardiology, Spine, Oral, etc.

n⦁ Ability to assign ICD-10-CM & PCS diagnoses and procedure codes correctly and completely.

n⦁ Requires advanced technical knowledge in specific inpatient and outpatient surgical and medical specialties as assigned.

n⦁ Extensive knowledge of medical terminology.

n⦁ Experience in researching and applying coding rules and regulations.





n⦁ Must have experience with data entry of codes into a database and/or software tool.

n⦁ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and a variety of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems.

n⦁ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

n⦁ Have a positive, respectful attitude.

n Minimum Requirements:

n· Education: Science Graduate or Postgraduate.

n· Credentials: Must possess current AHIMA/ AAPC certificate(s).

n· Communication: Possess outstanding verbal and written proficiency in English.

n· Work location: Ready to work from the office.
