Data & AI Architect (Healthcare / Real-World Data)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data & AI Architect to lead the design and

implementation of our next-generation data and analytics ecosystem. In this role, you

will architect scalable, secure, and compliant data and AI solutions that drive

innovation in Healthcare and Real-World Data (RWD).

You will play a pivotal role in shaping how data is collected, transformed, governed, and

leveraged for advanced analytics and AI — enabling life science/pharms specialists

and researchers to extract real-world insights that improve patient outcomes.

This position works closely with our Cloud Engineering & Product Teams as we

transition from a cloud-agnostic approach to an AWS-optimized infrastructure,

including NVIDIA GPU acceleration for AI/ML workloads.

Key Responsibilities

 Design and implement end-to-end data architecture spanning ingestion,

storage, transformation, and consumption layers.





 Build and optimize data pipelines for structured and unstructured healthcare

data (e.g., EHR, claims, genomic, and patient-generated data).

 Architect data lakehouse or hybrid solutions leveraging AWS-native services

(e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation).

 Define and implement data governance, lineage, and metadata management

frameworks to ensure quality, traceability, and compliance.

 Collaborate with AI/ML teams to design and deploy machine learning pipelines

and MLOps workflows using SageMaker, EKS, or Kubeflow.

 Integrate NVIDIA GPU-accelerated compute and frameworks (CUDA,

TensorRT, RAPIDS) to enable scalable AI/ML model training and inference.

 Ensure all solutions meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and security compliance

requirements.

 Partner with Cloud Architects, Data Scientists, and Product Teams to align data

strategy with business and research objectives.
