The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Logistics Operations Manager to lead our third-party logistics (3PL) network for our rapidly scaling marketplace. You will own the end-to-end performance of our carrier partners, ensuring seamless orchestration of First Mile (seller pick-ups), Last Mile delivery, and Reverse Logistics.

What You Own

1. 3PL Network Management & Performance





- Act as the primary operational leader for all 3PL and courier partners, driving daily, weekly, and monthly governance cycles.
- Monitor and enforce strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across Forward Delivery (O2D), Return to Origin (RTO), and Customer Returns (RVP).
- Drive rigorous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for network breaches, transit delays, and SLA misses using structured frameworks (5 Whys, Fishbone).
- Dynamically adjust regional carrier allocation logic based on real-time performance, capacity constraints, and strike rates.
- Improve customer experience by improving Delivery speeds (pickup to delivery) throughout the network.
- Improve delivery conversion (reducing RTOs and lost/damaged cases), with tight 3PL management, NDR management and customer communication management.

2. Operational Excellence & Process Engineering

- Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for seller handovers, hub operations, and exception management (e.g., NDR management, lost shipments).
- Optimize Non-Delivery Report (NDR) workflows to maximize delivery success rates and minimize RTO percentages.
- Collaborate with seller support and customer service teams to build an escalation matrix and reduce resolution turnaround times.
- Design and implement operational control tower dashboards using BI tools to monitor network health.
- Define business requirements and user stories for automated carrier allocation,



real-time tracking visibility, and NDR automation.

3. Commercial & Financial Controllership

- Own the logistics cost-to-serve metrics, driving continuous reduction in overall Cost Per Shipment (CPS).
- Manage the weight discrepancy and volumetric dispute processes with 3PLs to prevent revenue leakage.

What You Bring

- Experience: 5 to 10 years of core logistics, supply chain, or 3PL management experience, specifically within an e-commerce marketplace, hybrid commerce, or D2C environment.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Indian e-commerce logistics nuances, including regional carrier strengths, and RTO reduction strategies.
- Analytical Prowess: Strong data orientation. Advanced Excel, to diagnose operational bottlenecks independently.
- Execution Focus: Bias for action with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder operations and holding external partners accountable.
