Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Build scalable solutions using PHP, WordPress core APIs, hooks, filters, custom post types, and taxonomies.
Develop and maintain custom Gutenberg / Block Editor blocks and modern content-editing experiences.
Integrate WordPress with third-party systems such as REST APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
Optimize websites for performance, SEO readiness, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
Implement WordPress security best practices, patching, permissions management, and site hardening.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, plugin conflicts, deployment problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, product, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.
Review code,



define standards, mentor developers, and support technical delivery across projects.
Contribute to estimation, architecture decisions, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including senior-level ownership of web projects.
Robust proficiency in PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Proven experience in custom theme and custom plugin development.
Hands-on experience with Gutenberg / Block Editor and up-to-date WordPress architecture.
Robust knowledge of WordPress REST API and third-party integration patterns.
Experience with ACF, custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.
