Serve as the main expert and first point of contact for all DPDPA (Digital Personal Data Protection Act) compliance matters.

Develop and maintain policies and processes to ensure ongoing DPDPA compliance throughout the organization.

•

Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks that ensure accountability and regulatory alignment.

•

Oversee enterprise-wide data classification initiatives to identify and categorize personal and sensitive data according to DPDPA and insurance sector guidelines.

•

Define security controls such as encryption, access management, retention, and secure data sharing for each category of data.

•

Manage all stages of the data lifecycle: collection, secure storage, use, sharing, archiving, and deletion—ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

•

Conduct risk assessments and data protection impact assessments; ensure organizational engagement with relevant regulators.

•

Lead and deliver cross-functional projects on DPDPA, data governance, classification, and lifecycle management.

•

Provide training and foster awareness on data privacy, governance, and compliance best practices across the organization.
