To lead and manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all production machinery, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and audit standards in a jewellery manufacturing environment.

Section IV- Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance : Plan and execute regular preventive maintenance of jewellery production machines such as casting machines, rhodium plants, rolling mills, laser machines, chain machines, plating units, polishing machines, etc. Identify early signs of wear, malfunction, or breakdowns and take corrective actions.

Production Support : Support installation, testing, and calibration of new production machines, in coordination with Suppliers / vendors. Assist in setting up and maintaining CNC / laser / chain / press machines as per production requirements. Facilitate department shifting and setting up of new production lines / department with required machine installation.

Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance : Attend to machine breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.



Coordinate with external service engineers or vendors for specialized repairs. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs in the maintenance register

Inventory & Spare Parts Management : Maintain inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables. Prepare material requisitions for spare parts and coordinate with purchase or store departments.

Compliance & Safety : Ensure all machinery and electrical systems adhere to safety standards.

Conduct regular safety checks and train operators on equipment handling.

Maintain proper documentation of equipment history and calibration.

Comply with ISO / factory audit Production maintenance and calibration documentation

Other Activities : Refinery – Supervise to Dust Collection schedule from all Department and also collecting from common area by housekeeping people.

Diploma Electrical + PWD

Minimum Experience (in Years)

12+ Years

Certifications / Skills Required, if any

Robust knowledge of PPMS, Electrical Supervisor License (if applicable) & Experience in machine installation, calibration, and troubleshooting
