We're looking for an experienced In-Situ Machining Planner to lead pre-job planning and execution coordination for our portable machining field operations across heavy industry sites.

What you'll own:

- Pre-job planning for in-situ machining assignments — flange facing, line boring, journal turning, cold cutting, bolt torquing & tensioning
- Reviewing customer drawings, POs, and scope documents to build job execution plans
- Selecting and allocating portable machines, tooling, and consumables per job requirement
- Coordinating mobilisation logistics — manpower, equipment, site permits, and travel
- Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and job cards for field teams
- Monitoring job progress, tracking against schedule, and flagging deviations to management




- Supporting post-job documentation — inspection reports, as-built records, client sign-offs

What we're looking for:

- 8+ years in in-situ / portable machining operations or planning — oil & gas, power, refinery, cement, or steel plant experience preferred
- Working knowledge of portable machining equipment — flange facers, line boring machines, pipe cold cutters, hydraulic torque/tension tools
- Ability to read P&IDs;, isometrics, and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with PTW systems, LOTO, and shutdown/turnaround planning protocols
- Solid coordination skills — field teams, clients, and internal operations
