AI is absorbing the most describable parts of a Java or .NET engineer's job. What does not automate is owning a system nobody else understands, and being the person a client trusts when it breaks.

We are hiring ONE engineer to own three live enterprise integrations for US and UK clients. You will be the only engineer on those accounts — building them, fixing them, and talking to the customer directly. No project manager in between.

THIS ROLE MOVES YOU ONTO SERVICENOW. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW IT.

ServiceNow is a niche and has stayed one — demand has outstripped supply for years. At 8+ years it pays ₹15–35L in India, architects ₹40–70L. India has several hundred thousand Java engineers. It does not have several hundred thousand ServiceNow integration specialists, and that gap is what pays.

Training is self-directed. We give you the materials, a development instance, paid time to learn, and people who answer questions — but you work through it yourself. We do not run courses. If that is not how you learn, this will frustrate you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own three live client integrations end to end — code, incidents, and the client relationship.
- Build bidirectional integrations with partner APIs: queues, endpoints, scheduled sync, field transformation, and the data model mapping two systems that disagree.
- Design the failure paths — bounded retries, dead-lettering, duplicate detection, reconciliation, alerting that does not flood.
- Diagnose production incidents in systems you did not build, often from logs alone.
- Talk to clients directly — explain what broke, deliver bad news including when the fault is ours, and push back on what is not deliverable.

WHAT WE NEED





- 8–12 years building backend or integration software in an enterprise environment, with strong Java or C#.
- You have integrated with a third-party system you did not control — someone else's API, their release schedule, their outages. Be ready to talk about a specific one.
- You have handled an integration failing in production — duplicates, out-of-order messages, a retry that would not stop. Be ready to describe what you changed.
- REST and SOAP, JSON and XML, authentication patterns, and relational data modelling — you have designed a schema someone else had to live with.
- You have dealt with a client directly, including at least one conversation that went badly.

NICE TO HAVE

- Banking, capital markets or insurance — payments, core banking, regulatory reporting or reconciliation.
- Message queues, scheduled batch processing, or reconciliation between systems that disagree.
- A vendor platform with its own release model (Salesforce, Pega, SAP, Dynamics) or middleware tooling (MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO).

WHAT YOU GET
