Qualification

- CA Inter — one or both groups appeared
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical experience in jewellery/bullion accounting will be given preference.

About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Finance & Accounts Head to take independent ownership of the complete finance and accounting function of our bullion trading and wholesale jewellery business.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of bullion accounting, gold stock reconciliation, jewellery transactions, taxation, finalisation and management reporting, along with the ability to supervise the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

- Independently manage the complete day-to-day accounting function.
- Supervise ledgers, journal entries, purchase and sales accounting.
- Handle accounts finalisation and preparation of financial statements.
- Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.
- Manage bank reconciliation, cash/bank transactions and fund requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, CA and tax consultants.

Bullion & Jewellery Accounting

- Handle accounting for bullion purchase and sales transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile gold/silver stock — quantity, weight and value.
- Monitor purity/fine-gold reconciliation.
- Handle wholesale jewellery purchase and sales accounting.
- Account for gold issue/receipt, job work and related transactions.
- Monitor wastage, melting/yield and material reconciliation wherever applicable.
- Investigate and report discrepancies between physical stock and book stock.

Taxation & Compliance

- Oversee GST accounting and reconciliation.




- TDS compliance and reconciliation.
- Coordinate for Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely compliance.

MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial and business MIS.
- Provide management with information on sales, purchases, stock, receivables, payables and profitability.
- Analyse margins and identify unusual variations or discrepancies.
- Support management in financial decision-making.

Team & Internal Controls

- Lead and supervise the accounts team.
- Establish strong accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounts.
- Identify accounting errors, leakages and control weaknesses.
- Develop and implement accounting SOPs for the business.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Strong preference for candidates with jewellery, bullion or precious-metals industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS and taxation.
- Strong understanding of stock and inventory accounting.
- Experience in accounts finalisation and MIS.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality is essential.
- Good communication and team-management skills.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be someone who can independently run the finance and accounts function, understand the business beyond routine bookkeeping, and provide management with accurate financial information and effective controls. Candidates who require continuous supervision or have only general accounting experience without robust practical knowledge are not preferred.

Salary

₹50,000 – ₹75,000 per month, depending on experience, current compensation, industry expertise and overall suitability.

Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: ₹561,711.69 - ₹1,897,769.69 per year
