Role Description The Senior Field Service Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi, responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Perleybrook Labs’ Flagman devices and related systems at customer locations. This role includes performing diagnostics, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and executing preventive maintenance to ensure continuous, reliable operation of video analytics and IoT solutions.

Engineer collaborates closely with customers to provide technical support, train onsite personnel,



and capture feedback to improve product performance and user experience. Day-to-day activities involve coordinating service visits, documenting work performed, adhering to safety and quality standards, and working with internal engineering and product teams to resolve escalated issues. The role may require occasional travel to customer sites and partner facilities within the region.

Qualifications

- Strong field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and support of hardware and software systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for IoT, networking, and embedded or edge computing devices.
- Hands-on expertise in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and performance monitoring of industrial or safety-related equipment.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi), Windows/Linux environments, and familiarity with cloud-based platforms is beneficial.
- Experience in manufacturing, EHS, industrial automation, or machine safety environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently on customer sites, follow safety protocols, maintain detailed service documentation, and collaborate with remote teams.
