Senior Executive – Quality Control

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Quality Control to take responsibility for laboratory operations, quality control, product development support, process improvement, quality systems and technical coordination across the organization.

The candidate should have robust hands-on knowledge of polymer compounding, colour masterbatch, and polymer testing, along with the ability to analyse quality data, handle quality deviations, guide the QC team and coordinate effectively with Production, R&D; and other departments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day QC laboratory operations, ensuring timely and accurate testing of materials, finished products, trial batches and samples.
- Conduct and supervise testing of key polymer/masterbatch parameters.
- Monitor raw material and in-process quality during polymer compounding and extrusion, identify deviations and coordinate with Production for timely corrective action.
- Support new product development, formulation trials, process trials and product improvement through laboratory testing, comparative analysis and technical evaluation in coordination with R&D; and Production.
- Analyse quality and laboratory data to identify quality trends, recurring deviations and improvement opportunities, and support RCA, CAPA, rejection reduction and process improvement initiatives.
- Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints, including sample evaluation,



comparison with specifications/retention samples, technical analysis and corrective-action follow-up.
- Develop, implement and maintain SOPs, testing methods, product specifications, quality formats and laboratory documentation, ensuring proper traceability and compliance with the Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, laboratory procedures, calibration requirements, safety, 5S and organizational discipline, while maintaining accuracy and reliability of testing and records.
- Supervise and develop the QC/Laboratory team, including work allocation, performance monitoring, technical training, equipment training, SOP awareness and skill development.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, R&D;, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, Sales/Technical and other departments on quality issues, trials, raw materials, process improvements and timely closure of quality actions.

Qualification & Experience

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Quality Control / QC Laboratory.
- Experience in Colour Masterbatch, Polymer Compounding, Plastic Compounding, Additive/Filler Masterbatch or Polymer Processing will be strongly preferred.
- CIPET – PGPPT / DPT / Plastics Technology candidates preferred.
- B.Tech/B.E. in Polymer, Plastics, Chemical or related disciplines may be considered.
- M.Sc. Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry candidates with relevant industrial experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
