Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing &

- Procurement
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable international suppliers/importers of fresh fruits (e.g., apples, grapes, kiwis, oranges, dates, exotic fruits, etc.)
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Plan and place orders based on seasonal availability, demand forecasts, and inventory levels
- Track fruit markets prices, seasonal avilability, and pricing trends across key sourcing countries

Quality &
- Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with quality control teams to ensure fruits meet freshness, grading, and safety standards on arrival.
- Monitor ambient & cold chain logistics, container temperature settings, and storage conditions to minimize spoilage/wastage
- Track dispatch status and proactively resolve delays, damages, or quality issues with suppliers/logistics partners

Vendor &
- Relationship Management





- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with suppliers / importers, agents, and trading houses.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews based on quality, pricing, and delivery reliability
- Explore recent sourcing origins/markets to diversify supply and reduce dependency risk.

Key RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture &
- Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field (MBA preferred)

Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase, with at least 3+ years specifically in imported fruits, fresh produce, or perishable food products
- Proven experience in international trade, import documentation, and customs procedures
