WE’RE HIRING | SENIOR EVENT DESIGNER

With Love Nilma is looking for a Senior Event Designer to join our creative team in Bangalore.

We design luxury weddings and events, with a strong focus on floral artistry, architectural structures and immersive environments. Our work is refined, elegant and unapologetically maximalist — with a constant focus on creating spaces that feel distinctive and memorable.

As we look towards expanding our work into international destinations, we’re looking for a designer who can grow with that vision.

THE ROLEThis is a creative ownership role.

You will take a brief, develop the creative concept, lead the design process and work closely with our wider team to see the vision through to execution.

You will be expected to:

- Translate client briefs into strong, original design concepts
- Develop the creative direction for luxury weddings, events and installations
- Create mood boards, presentations, layouts, drawings and 3D visualisations
- Work across floral and structural design, with a strong understanding of spatial design
- Present and communicate concepts confidently to clients and internal teams
- Make independent creative decisions while remaining aligned with the client's brief
- Brief, guide and collaborate closely with our junior designer
- Work closely with our operations, production and vendor teams to ensure the design is executed as envisioned
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of detail
- Contribute current ideas, references and design perspectives as we continue to evolve our creative language

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORYou should have a design background with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in event, wedding, spatial, set, interior or a closely related design field.

Experience with florals and structural design is essential.

- Able to work across multiple projects and deadlines
- Confident presenting your ideas
- Interested in how a design moves from a drawing/render to a real space
- Excited by the opportunity to work towards an increasingly international design language

You should be proficient in the tools required to bring your ideas to life, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop/Illustrator, 3D visualisation and presentation software.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF...You are primarily a graphic designer rather than an event/spatial designer.

You have design experience but little or no understanding of floral and structural design.

You prefer working only within your own aesthetic rather than designing around a client's brief.

You are uncomfortable with feedback, changing direction or collaborating with others.

You struggle with detail, multiple deadlines or the realities of on-site execution.

We are looking for someone who understands that exceptional event design is not just about how something looks on a screen — it is about how the entire experience comes together in the real world.

Location: Bangalore
