About the role

We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer to create responsive, accessible and high-performing web applications. You will own frontend modules, build reusable components, help evolve the design system and contribute to modernisation and migration initiatives across customer- and operations-facing interfaces.

Key responsibilities

- Develop responsive web applications using React and Next.js.

- Build, document and maintain reusable UI components.

- Contribute to design-system standards, patterns and governance.

- Develop frontend modules and integrate REST APIs.

- Support modernisation and website migration initiatives.

- Improve accessibility, SEO and cross-browser behaviour.

- Measure and optimize frontend performance and Core Web Vitals.

- Write tests for components and critical user journeys.

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

What success looks like





- Own frontend modules independently from implementation through production support.

- Build scalable, reusable and accessible interfaces.

- Collaborate closely with design, backend, product and QA teams.

- Make evidence-based performance improvements.

- Maintain high standards for TypeScript quality, testing and documentation.
