Mission To strengthen the Sourcing function at Product Company Talegaon, we are looking for a dynamic skilled who is ready to take on the challenging and fastpaced role of Buyer Sourcing, shall individually handle spend of ~ 120 Cr.

The role involves managing Sourcing and Resourcing of execution of Industrial greenfield, and brownfield project, building construction, infrastructure, facility expansion, and industrial development projects. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of Civil Construction, Project Management, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), MIDC Land Acquisition, HT/LT Electrical Infrastructure, Factory Licensing, DISH Approvals, HVAC Cooling Systems, and related industrial facility development activities Instrumentation, Electrical commodity, High value Capex procurement, Building Plant Purchase, Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), Maintenance Repair and Operation (MRO), and Transport agreements. The role will be responsible for Purchase to Pay, vendor sourcing, project coordination, technical evaluation, statutory compliance, Monitor Budget and timely execution of capital projects.

Procurement activities, driving supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with the company’s sourcing standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

- Manage and execute the complete bidding process to ensure optimal and compliant procurement outcomes.
- Review and approve bidding results, contract signoff, conduct Business Code of Conduct assessments, and support onboarding of new suppliers.




- Coordinate with user departments and suppliers across all procurement stages, including delivery followups, payments, warranties, and contract terms.

Supplier Management

- Maintain and update supplier information, ensuring accurate and timely records within the supplier information database.
- Evaluate current and potential suppliers for capability, performance, cost competitiveness, and compliance.
- Develop and nurture strong supplier relationships, ensure confidentiality, and influence suppliers to align with Atlas Copco quality and compliance standards.
- Drive supplier consolidation, market research, cost reduction initiatives, Strategic negotiation and resourcing activities all categories.

Process Compliance & Improvement

- Maintain procurement documentation and identify potential risks to ensure process integrity.
- Continuously improve procurement processes through training and optimization initiatives.
- Participate in internal & external audits, lead departmental self-assessments, and ensure full compliance with procurement policies and the Atlas Copco Business Code of Practice.

CrossFunctional Collaboration





- Work closely with all functions within Product Company Talegaon and relevant divisions to support business objectives.
- Drive Service Level Agreements (SLA) and commercial contracts for assigned commodities.

Experience Requirements

- Around 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in sourcing or procurement.
- Exposure to Industrial greenfield, and brownfield project execution, building construction, infrastructure, facility expansion, and industrial development projects. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of Civil Construction, Project Management, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), MIDC Land Acquisition, HT/LT Electrical Infrastructure, Factory Licensing, DISH Approvals, HVAC Cooling Systems, and related industrial facility development activities, Instrumentation, Electrical commodity, High value Capex procurement, Plant Purchase, AMC, MRO, and transport agreements.
- Strong purchasing, negotiation, organizational, good communication, decision making, strong negotiator and administrative skills with a proactive, cando mindset.
- Experience in Indirect procurement exposure is an added advantage.
- Industry background in Construction background is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

- Strong understanding of sourcing, supply chain processes, and procurement systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP and advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
- Additional knowledge in operations or supply chain will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical abilities and strong negotiation skills.
- Certified internal auditor for IMS will be an advantage.
