About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to build and maintain high-quality Flutter and native Android applications, including experiences designed for Android Auto and connected-car environments. You will own mobile features end to end, integrate backend services and third-party SDKs, and ensure dependable production releases.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Flutter and native Android applications.

- Build safe, reliable features for Android Auto and in-car experiences.

- Integrate backend APIs and third-party SDKs.

- Design maintainable application architecture and state-management patterns.

- Write unit, widget and UI tests for critical flows.

- Optimise application startup, runtime performance and reliability.

- Support release management and production monitoring.

- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver durable fixes.

- Collaborate with backend, product, design and QA teams.

What success looks like





- Own mobile features from design and estimation through release and support.

- Deliver stable, well-tested releases with clear technical documentation.

- Resolve production issues independently and communicate impact clearly.

- Apply Android and Flutter development best practices.

- Consider safety, distraction and connectivity constraints in automotive experiences.

Required skills

- Flutter and Dart.

- Kotlin and/or Java.

- Android SDK and Android application lifecycle.

- Android Auto App Library.

- Jetpack components.

- REST API integration.

- State management using Bloc, Provider or Riverpod.

- Git and cooperative development workflows.

Good to have

- Firebase, FCM and Crashlytics.

- Google Play Console and mobile CI/CD.

- Maps and location APIs.

- Bluetooth or USB integration.

- Automotive OS concepts.
