4)Batching Operators-B.Sc(MPC)-Freshers-4 No’s

5)Fitters-3 No’s – Mechanical Maintainance - ITI(Fitter) /Any Qualification with relevant experience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred.

7)Pump house Operator-1 No’s - ITI In (Fitter/Electrician/Pump mechanic trade) /Any Qualification with relevant experience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred.

8)Engineer-1 No-

9)Sr.Electricians-4 No - ITI/Diploma – Electrical.

5–8 years' experience preferred.

10)Electricians-4 No - ITI – Electrical.

1. CRO – Control Room Operator

Department: Production

Reports to: Shift In-charge / Production Manager

Qualification/Experience: B.Tech/Diploma/Any Degreewith relevantexperience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor furnace operation through DCS/PLC/control panel.
- Monitor furnace temperature, power, voltage, current and other operating parameters.
- Maintain stable furnace operation as per prescribed operating conditions.
- Coordinate with batching, tapping and furnace field operators.
- Monitor alarms and take immediate corrective action.
- Maintain production, power consumption and process-related records.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical and Quality departments during abnormalities.
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures and emergency instructions.
- Ensure proper shift handover and communicate pending issues.
- Report any abnormal furnace conditions immediately to the Shift In-charge.

2. Batching Operator Department: Production / Raw Material

Reports to: Shift In-charge / Batching In-charge

Qualification/Experience: Diploma/B.Sc. (MPC)/ Any Degree with relevant experience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor the raw-material batching system.
- Ensure correct proportioning of ores, reductants, fluxes and other raw materials as per batch formula.
- Check material availability and identify shortages.
- Operate conveyors, feeders, screens, hoppers and weighing systems.




- Ensure accurate weighing and proper feeding to the furnace.
- Monitor material flow and prevent blockages/spillage.
- Maintain batching and material consumption records.
- Coordinate with CRO and furnace operators.
- Maintain cleanliness around the batching area.
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

3. Tapper

Department: Production / Furnace

Reports to: Shift In-charge / Furnace In-charge

Qualification/Experience: Any Qualification with relevant experience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out furnace tapping operations safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain tapping arrangements before tapping.
- Open and close tap holes as per operating procedure.
- Monitor flow of molten metal and slag during tapping.
- Ensure proper separation and collection of metal and slag.
- Check runners, ladles, moulds and tapping equipment before operation.
- Remove/explicit runners and tapping areas as required.
- Immediately report abnormal tapping conditions, leakage or furnace problems.
- Maintain housekeeping around the tapping area.
- Strictly follow molten-metal safety procedures and PPE requirements.

4. Fitter

Department: Mechanical Maintenance

Reports to: Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance In-charge

Qualification/Experience: ITI(Fitter) /Any Qualification with relevant experience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out preventive, breakdown and routine mechanical maintenance.
- Attend to pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, crushers, feeders, fans and other plant machinery.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair and assemble mechanical equipment.
- Perform alignment of rotating equipment.
- Replace bearings, seals, couplings and other components.
- Attend to hydraulic and pneumatic equipment where required.
- Identify abnormal noise, vibration, leakage and other mechanical problems.
- Assist during equipment shutdown and major maintenance activities.
- Maintain tools and equipment properly.
- Follow LOTO, work-permit and safety procedures.

5. Pump House Operator

Department: Utilities / Production

Reports to: Shift In-charge / Utility In-charge

Qualification/Experience: ITI In (Fitter/Electrician/Pump mechanic trade) /Any Qualification with relevant experience in ferro alloys/furnace operation preferred.

Key Responsibilities:





- Operate and monitor water pumps and associated equipment.
- Monitor cooling-water circulation and water levels.
- Check pump pressure, flow, temperature, vibration and leakage.
- Start/stop pumps as per operational requirements.
- Maintain proper operation of standby pumps.
- Monitor water tanks, pipelines, valves and cooling-water systems.
- Report pump/equipment abnormalities immediately.
- Maintain operating log sheets and shift records.
- Ensure housekeeping in the pump-house area
- Follow electrical/mechanical safety procedures and PPE requirements.

6. SENIOR ELECTRICIAN

Department: Electrical Maintenance

Reports to: Electrical Engineer / Maintenance In-charge.

Qualification & Experience

ITI/Diploma – Electrical.

5–8 years' experience preferred.

Job Purpose To supervise electrical maintenance and ensure reliable and safe operation of plant electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise electrical breakdown and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain motors, MCCs, panels, transformers and cables.
- Diagnose electrical faults.
- Guide electricians and technicians.
- Coordinate maintenance during shut down.
- Maintain maintenance records.
- Ensure LOTO and electrical safety compliance.

7. ELECTRICIAN

Department: Electrical Maintenance

Reports to: Senior Electrician / Electrical Engineer

Qualification & Experience

ITI – Electrical.

2–5 years' experience preferred.

Job Purpose To carry out safe and timely electrical maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend electrical breakdowns.
- Carry out preventive maintenance.
- Maintain motors, starters, panels, cables and lighting.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults.
- Conduct routine inspections.
- Maintain tools and testing instruments.
- Follow LOTO and electrical safety procedures.

8. CHEMIST Department: Quality Control / Laboratory

Reports to: QC Manager / Chief Chemist

Qualification & Experience

B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent.

2–5 years' industrial laboratory experience is preferred.

- Collect and analyse raw-material, process and finished-product samples.
- Conduct chemical analysis as per approved methods.
