Hiring: Senior Data Scientist

Reporting To: Lead Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Mumbai to design, build, and deploy high-impact AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions across core business areas, including Operations, Pricing, and Sales. You will own projects end-to-end—translating complex business problems into production-ready models, mentoring junior team members, and measuring direct ROI.

Key Responsibilities

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, pricing, and sales units to identify and prioritize AI/ML opportunities.
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead projects from initial problem definition to solution architecture, deployment, and adoption.
- Hands-On Development: Build, optimize, and validate advanced machine learning and GenAI models.
- Deployment & MLOps: Partner with data engineering teams to integrate models into production workflows and set up performance monitoring frameworks.
- Mentorship:



Guide junior data scientists and analysts to foster technical excellence and structured problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Storytelling: Translate complex mathematical and analytical outputs into actionable business recommendations for leadership.

What We’re Looking For

- Education: Graduate Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech); Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (MTech, MSc, MBA) preferred.
- Experience: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, ML, Deep Learning, and GenAI solution development.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and contemporary ML frameworks.
- Cloud & Data: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), big data tools (e.g., Spark), and working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and MLOps practices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and data storytelling abilities.
