Role Description The Senior Data Analyst at BETA is a full time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing complex datasets to generate actionable insights that support product development, operations, and strategic decision-making.

Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining data models, performing statistical analyses, preparing reports and dashboards, and translating data findings into clear recommendations for cross-functional teams.

The Senior Data

Analyst will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define metrics, improve data quality, and optimize performance across BETA’s software products. The role also involves mentoring junior analysts,



establishing best practices in data analytics, and contributing to continuous improvement of the company’s data infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in data analytics, with a track record of solving complex business problems using data-driven approaches.
- Proficiency in statistics and data modeling, including designing experiments, building predictive models, and interpreting quantitative results.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Advanced skills in SQL and at least one analytics or scripting language (such as Python or R), and familiarity with BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience working with large, complex datasets, including data cleaning, validation, and documentation of data sources and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Background in product-based or software companies and experience collaborating with product and engineering teams is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and mentor junior team members in best practices for analytics and reporting.
