Senior Costing Engineer – Casting & Machining

? Location: Bangalore

? Work Mode: Work From Office

? **Salary: Up to 10 LPA (Yearly)

Key Respo nsibilities

- Prepar e accurate cost estimates for ferrous & non-ferrous castings and machined components. Develop cost models for sand casting, die casting (GDC/PDC), investment casting, and bar stock. Analyze machining costs, tooling, machine time, overheads, and production feasibility. Collabo rate with Design (NPD), Procurement, and suppliers for RFQs and cost optimization. Maintai n costing databases, BOMs, and historical cost records.* Identif y cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Requirem e nts

- Bachel o r’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering,



Materials Science, or a related field.* 4 to 7

years of experience in costing/estimation within the casting, forging, or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of foundry processes, machining operations, and cost structures. Experie nce with OEM or foundry costing, BOM management, and Microsoft Excel.* Excelle nt analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferre d

:

- Experi e nce in Automotive, Aerospace, or Heavy Manufacturing.* Exposur e to Foundry New Product Development (NPD).
