We're seeking an experienced communications professional to elevate ACER India's profile and impact through strategic communications, compelling storytelling and trusted communications advice. Working closely with the CEO and colleagues across the global ACER Group, you'll help connect research, policy and practice through meaningful communication that reaches educators, policymakers and communities.

About the Role The Senior Communications Advisor plays a key role in enhancing ACER India's profile, reputation and influence through the development and delivery of strategic communications initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, ACER India, you will lead corporate communications activities, provide expert advice to stakeholders, and contribute to communication initiatives that support both ACER India and the wider ACER international network.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Developing and delivering strategic communications initiatives that strengthen ACER India's reputation and visibility.
- Writing, editing and coordinating high-quality publications, newsletters, reports, articles, brochures and promotional materials.
- Identifying and promoting stories that showcase ACER India's research, expertise and impact.
- Developing content for media, corporate publications, websites and digital channels.
- Supporting website content strategy, governance and enhancement activities.
- Assisting with media planning, media releases and responses to media enquiries.
- Supporting social media strategy, content development and campaign evaluation.
- Providing trusted communications advice to leaders and stakeholders across ACER India and the wider ACER Group.




- Collaborating with Creative Services, Online Services, Marketing and international colleagues to deliver impactful communications outcomes

About You You are a strategic and highly capable communications professional with exceptional writing and editorial skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex ideas into transparent and engaging content.

Desirable Experience

- At least 10 years' experience in communications, knowledge management, public affairs, media, international development or a related field.
- Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong experience managing publications, communication campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent judgement, organisation and attention to detail.
- Experience in international development and donor-funded projects will be highly regarded.
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
