Job Description
Conduct technical and practical training for service technicians, apprentices and workshop staff.
Train employees on Toyota vehicle systems, diagnostics, periodic maintenance and repair procedures.
Develop training modules covering mechanical, electrical, electronic and diagnostic systems.
Provide hands-on training using workshop vehicles, tools, diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
Conduct induction and refresher training for newly joined technicians.
Evaluate technicians through practical assessments, tests and skill evaluations.
Identify individual skill gaps and prepare improvement plans.
Train employees on recent vehicle models, technologies, features and updated repair procedures.
Promote First Time Right (FTR), quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to Toyota service standards, safety procedures and workshop processes.




Support technicians in diagnosing complex technical problems and improve troubleshooting skills.
Maintain training records, attendance, assessment scores and competency reports.
Coordinate with Service Manager, Technical Team Leaders and HR for training requirements.
Encourage Kaizen/continuous improvement and effective workplace practices.
Support dealership initiatives for developing technically competent and self-reliant service personnel.
