Role & responsibilities

- Manage the overall operations and business performance of the assigned branches (Sasthamangalam,Kesavadasapuram, Attingal or Pettah)
- Drive Gold Loan and other lending business through customer acquisition, local market development and relationship management.
- Achieve monthly business, disbursement, collection and profitability targets.
- Lead, motivate and monitor branch staff to ensure productivity and service quality.
- Build strong relationships with customers, local businesses and community networks.
- Ensure proper customer onboarding, KYC, documentation, gold appraisal and loan processing as per company policies.
- Monitor repayments, overdue accounts and collection performance while maintaining portfolio quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations, company policies, internal controls and operational procedures.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, branch discipline and professional conduct.
- Prepare and review branch MIS, daily performance reports and business forecasts.
- Identify local business opportunities and implement branch-level growth initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Regional/HO team on business, operations, compliance and manpower requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline; candidates with MBA/PGDM or relevant financial-services qualifications will be preferred.




- 36 years of experience in branch management, Gold Loan, NBFC, banking, microfinance or retail financial services.
- Prior experience in Gold Loan / secured lending will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to achieve business and collection targets.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Positive understanding of KYC, lending operations, collections and compliance.
- Strong customer relationship and local-market development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working with business targets and performance metrics.
- Candidates with strong knowledge of the Thiruvananthapuram and Attingal markets will be preferred.
- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism and a strong customer-first approach.
