Job Description:

Job Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost objectives are achieved. The role involves managing CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, CNC Grinding, Wire Cut, Assembly, Maintenance, and Shop Floor Operations while ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

 Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
 Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements and delivery schedules.
 Monitor production performance, machine utilization, and shop floor productivity.
 Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
 Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Operations Management

 Manage CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, CNC Grinding, Wire Cut, and Assembly operations.
 Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, tooling,



and materials.
 Monitor machine loading, cycle time, setup time, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
 Ensure proper implementation of SOPs and process controls.

Quality Management

 Ensure products are manufactured as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
 Coordinate with QA/QC teams to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
 Monitor process capability and implement corrective and preventive actions.
 Ensure compliance with ISO and company quality systems.

Team Management

 Lead and manage supervisors, engineers, operators, and helpers.
 Conduct manpower planning and workforce allocation.
 Train and develop employees on technical and operational requirements.
 Monitor discipline, attendance, performance, and employee engagement.
