Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Architect with 12+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, highly available cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) .

The ideal candidate will have a solid architecture background, excellent knowledge of AWS services, cloud security, networking, DevOps, automation, and infrastructure modernization. The candidate will work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and business teams to define cloud architecture and drive large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement highly scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective AWS architectures .
- Define cloud architecture strategies, standards, and best practices across enterprise environments.
- Lead AWS cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Design solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Aurora, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and AWS Organizations .
- Develop and maintain multi-account, multi-region, and highly available AWS environments .
- Design secure AWS networking solutions including VPC, Subnets, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Load Balancers, Route Tables, and Security Groups .
- Establish cloud security, governance, compliance, and identity-management best practices.
- Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated cloud deployments .
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and infrastructure teams.




- Review existing systems and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and cost optimization .
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guidelines.
- Evaluate new AWS services and technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud architecture and production issues.
- Mentor engineers and architects and provide technical leadership across cloud initiatives.

Required Technical Skills
- 12+ years of overall IT experience , with significant experience in cloud architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and enterprise-scale cloud architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework .
- Strong expertise in:
- AWS Compute – EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda
- AWS Storage – S3, EBS, EFS
- AWS Databases – RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB
- AWS Networking – VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN
- AWS Security – IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, WAF, Shield
- Monitoring – CloudWatch, CloudTrail
- Integration – SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and networking concepts .
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code , preferably Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation .
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices .
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline .
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/Amazon EKS .
- Strong scripting/programming knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar languages .
- Experience with cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
