Description Senior Applied AI Engineer role in Celonis’ global Digital and Marketing Operations organization. Hands-on, executional position focused on building internal AI solutions that improve marketing efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience

- 5-7 years of experience in a development or engineering role
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production-level applications, bots, or automated workflows
- Proficiency in Python or scripting languages like Javascript
- Strong understanding of libraries for data manipulation such as Pandas
- Hands-on experience with AI/automation frameworks and platforms such as Langchain, Make, or Zapier
- Experience with API development and integration using REST and GraphQL
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models
- Proven ability to apply advanced prompt engineering principles to solve business problems
- Strong sense of ownership
- Product-oriented mindset
- Ability to build user-centric and scalable solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused language for non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

- Design and build AI-powered solutions to automate key marketing tasks
- Create AI agents to assist with creative brief routing and content translation
- Develop hybrid solutions that augment human workflows




- Create and manage API integrations to automate data ingestion from marketing platforms into custom-built AI solutions
- Improve CRM data quality and integrity
- Develop tools for automated lead-to-account matching
- Develop tools for duplicate record removal
- Develop tools for data enrichment
- Collaborate with Brand and Communications teams on AI solutions for content generation and real-time market trend analysis
- Measure and optimize the business impact of solutions
- Ensure solutions deliver measurable efficiency gains for marketing teams
- Research and recommend new AI tools and technologies to drive future efficiency and innovation

Additional Responsibilities

- Work in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment
- Translate strategic needs into tangible tools that save time, improve data quality, and enable marketing teams to better serve customers
- Make the marketing organization more intelligent and data-driven
- Support the global marketing teams within Digital and Marketing Operations
- Enable marketing functions from Field to Brand with the technology, data, and processes they need to succeed
