Position: Admission Team Lead for Indore Institute of Design /n Location: Rau. Indore, Madhya Pradesh /n Experience: 4–6 Years About the Role /n We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven Admission Team Lead to lead our Academic Counselling and Admissions team at our Design Institute. /n The ideal candidate should have proven experience in leading an academic counselling or admissions team, driving student enrolments, managing admission targets, and ensuring a structured and professional counselling process. Candidates with prior experience in a Design Institute or creative education environment will be given preference. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Lead, manage, and mentor the Academic Counselling and Admissions team.

/n

- Set, monitor, and achieve individual and team-wise admission and enrolment targets.

/n

- Develop and implement effective strategies for lead conversion and student enrolment.

/n

- Guide counsellors in student counselling, follow-ups, objection handling, and conversion.

/n

- Monitor the complete admission funnel, including lead generation, counselling, follow-up, application, and enrolment.

/n

- Conduct regular team reviews and analyse individual counsellor performance.

/n

- Maintain accurate admission reports, MIS, CRM records, and conversion data.

/n

- Ensure timely and effective follow-up with prospective students and parents.

/n

- Provide accurate information regarding courses, curriculum, career opportunities, fee structures, scholarships, and admission procedures.

/n

- Coordinate with the Marketing, Academic, and Management teams to support admission campaigns and enrolment initiatives.

/n





- Identify challenges in the admission process and implement corrective measures to improve conversion rates.

/n

- Train and develop counselling team members to improve their communication, counselling, and sales skills.

/n

- Ensure a professional and student-centric admission experience.

/n

- Stay updated with trends in design education, career opportunities, and student preferences.

/n /n Candidate Eligibility /n /n

- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.

/n

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in admissions, academic counselling, education sales, or student recruitment.

/n

- Mandatory: Previous experience as an Academic Counselling Team Lead, Admission Team Lead, Senior Academic Counsellor, or in a similar leadership position.

/n

- Preferred: Candidates with experience working with a Design Institute, Fashion Design Institute, Interior Design Institute, UX/UI Design Institute, Graphic Design Institute, Communication Design Institute, or other creative-education institution.

/n

- Proven track record of achieving admission or enrolment targets.

/n

- Robust team management and leadership capabilities.

/n

- Excellent communication, counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

/n

- Strong understanding of the student admission and conversion cycle.

/n

- Ability to work in a target-oriented and performance-driven environment. /n /n /n
- The candidate should be a hands-on team leader capable of managing the complete admissions function, developing a high-performing counselling team, improving conversion ratios, and contributing directly to the growth and enrolment objectives of the Design Institute.
