We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting operations, Tally, GST, TDS, reconciliations and financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain books of accounts.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, journals and payment entries.
- Perform bank, ledger and vendor reconciliations.
- Manage GST returns, TDS calculations and statutory compliance.
- Track receivables, payables and outstanding payments.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements and monthly reports.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS and MS Excel.
- Positive understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
- Hands-on experience in AP/AR, bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and MIS reporting.
- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
