- Provide individual and group counselling to students.
- Guide students on academic, career, and personal development.
- Provide career guidance to students of Classes 9th 12th, including stream selection, aptitude assessment, college admissions, and career planning.
- Identify and support students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Work closely with parents and teachers to address student needs.
- Maintain confidential student records and counselling reports.
Required Qualifications
- Pass 10th 12th standard from a recognized board.
- A master s degree in Humanities, Social Science, Counselling, or a related field
- Have proficiency in the language of instruction, typically English.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Counsellor in a recognized school is preferred.
Other Eligibility Criteria
- All degrees and diplomas should be from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Solid observational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
