? Job Summary

We are looking for a Scan to BIM – MEP Modeler with up to 3 years of relevant experience in converting laser scan / point cloud data into accurate BIM models . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MEP modeling, point cloud interpretation, and BIM coordination using Revit MEP .

? Key Responsibilities

- Develop accurate MEP BIM models from laser scan and point cloud data .
- Interpret and understand point cloud/3D scan data for existing building conditions.
- Create detailed HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and other MEP models as per project requirements.
- Model existing MEP services based on available scan data and site information.
- Prepare models according to required LOD and BIM standards .
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and proper alignment of MEP elements with point cloud data.
- Identify discrepancies, clashes, missing information and modeling constraints.
- Coordinate MEP models with Architectural and Structural BIM models .
- Perform clash detection and coordination and support resolution of identified issues.
- Update BIM models based on markups, site changes and client comments.
- Create and maintain BIM families, templates and project-specific modeling standards.
- Extract required drawings, views, schedules and documentation from BIM models.
- Maintain proper model organization, naming conventions and worksets.
- Follow company BIM standards, project BEP and client-specific requirements.
- Support BIM Coordinators and Engineers in model review and quality checking.




- Participate in internal model audits and ensure deliverables meet project quality standards.

? Required Skills
- Revit MEP – Mandatory
- Good knowledge of Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud Modeling .
- Understanding of MEP systems and building services .
- Knowledge of AutoCAD .
- Basic understanding of Navisworks and clash coordination.
- Ability to work with point cloud formats and 3D scan data .
- Understanding of BIM workflows, LOD and model coordination.
- Good knowledge of MEP modeling standards and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and point cloud information.

? Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architecture, or related Engineering/Design discipline .
- Relevant BIM certification/training will be an added advantage.

? Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM / MEP BIM Modeling.

Candidates with experience in existing building documentation, as-built modeling, point cloud-based MEP modeling, and Scan-to-BIM projects will be preferred.

? Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong practical knowledge of Revit MEP .
- Experience working on point cloud to BIM projects .
- Ability to understand complex existing MEP conditions.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in office from the Bangalore office .
- Ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality BIM models.
