Role Description The Assistant Accountant will support daily accounting operations for international CPA and accounting firm clients, ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of financial data.
Responsibilities include bookkeeping tasks such as posting journal entries, reconciling bank and ledger accounts, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports. The role also involves supporting tax preparation activities, helping with budgeting and variance analysis, and preparing basic schedules and documentation for audits. The Assistant Accountant will collaborate with senior accountants and managers to meet client deadlines, maintain organized records, and adhere to qualified and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring regular coordination with team members and clients.
