Role Description This remote internship role as a JavaScript Developer involves contributing to the development of RefEngine’s web-based products and features. Interns will work closely with the engineering team to implement user interfaces, integrate front-end components with back-end services, and improve performance and usability. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean JavaScript code,



using frameworks and libraries such as Redux.js, debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating on new features that enhance the candidate and referrer experience. The internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to modern web development practices, version control, and agile workflows while supporting the growth of a fast-evolving product.
Qualifications
Robust foundation in JavaScript and Software Development, with the ability to write modular, maintainable code.
Front-End Development skills, including building responsive user interfaces and working with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
Back-End Web Development skills, such as designing APIs, integrating with databases, and understanding server-side concepts.
Experience or familiarity with Redux.js or similar state management tools for complex front-end applications.
Basic understanding of web standards, HTML, CSS, and RESTful services.
