About The Role

The Security Engineer at HCLSoftware will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining security controls across enterprise and cloud environments. This role is highly technical and hands-on, requiring a proactive approach to security platform management and integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning security controls end-to-end, from initial design and implementation to ongoing tuning, automation,



and operational health. Collaboration with various teams such as Security Operations Center (SOC), Vulnerability Management, IT, and Cloud Engineering is essential to ensure that security environments are robust, resilient, and effectively instrumented. The Security Engineer will contribute to building a security-first culture by leaving environments better secured and more manageable than before.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess over five years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or related roles with a proven track record of managing enterprise security platforms. Solid expertise in cloud security across at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is necessary, along with hands-on experience deploying native security services and enforcing policies.
