We are developing scalable food products, transformation programs and food production infrastructure to deliver nutritious, standardised and commercially viable meals at scale.
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Operations Expert to help build and optimise Kefilo's kitchen operations and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations – Design and optimise end-to-end kitchen operations covering procurement, preparation, cooking, packing, dispatch and daily production.
Process Standardisation – Develop SOPs for recipes, preparation, cooking, portioning, packaging, hygiene and quality control to ensure consistent output.
Production Scaling – Build systems capable of scaling from the current operation to high-volume meal production with effective manpower, equipment and workflows.
Kitchen Layout & Workflow – Advise on kitchen layout, equipment selection, workstations, material movement and production flow for maximum efficiency.
Cost & Resource Optimisation – Improve food cost, labour productivity, wastage, inventory utilisation, energy consumption and overall kitchen economics.
Technology & Automation – Identify opportunities for semi-automation, smart equipment, process automation and technology-enabled kitchen operations.
Quality & Food Safety – Establish operational systems for hygiene, food safety, quality control, storage, temperature management and compliance.
Supply Chain & Inventory – Develop efficient systems for procurement, vendor management, raw-material planning, inventory control and demand forecasting.
