In this role, you will: • Contribute to sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests • Design, develop, test and support automation for the data protection services (NetBackup and CommVault) within the bank. • Design, develop, test and support reporting and monitoring capabilities for the automation. • Provide engineering support on the bank's data protection products and their standard usage. • Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions. • Produce explicit and comprehensive documentation for all automation produced. • Mentor less experienced members of staff To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) • Extensive knowledge of software development languages, including Python, Bash • Comprehensive experience in configuration management and orchestration using Redhat Ansible • Proficient in designing, developing, and testing Rest API services. • Hands on experience in Devops SCM tooling, GitHub
