Job Position: Mainframe Storage Engineer

Location: Mumbai/Chennai

Experience: 5+ to 10+ Years

Mandatory Skills: - IBM-Storage, Mainframe - IMSDB, Mainframe DB2, REXX, Z/OS

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support enterprise Mainframe Storage environments in 24×7 production operations.
Perform storage implementation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.
Support z/OS I/O architecture, including CHPIDs, control units, paths, FICON, and multipathing.
Analyze and troubleshoot I/O performance using RMF, SMF, and DCOLLECT.
Work closely with z/OS Systems Programmers and infrastructure teams.
Support multi-datacenter, multi-region, and global production environments.
Participate in technical projects with minimal supervision and provide technical guidance to junior team members.




Perform technical reviews and assist with complex storage-related problem resolution.
