Job Purpose

The Project Manager – Operations will be responsible for end-to-end execution and successful completion of solar EPC projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within agreed timelines, approved budgets, quality standards and safety requirements.

The role will act as the central coordination point between management, engineering, procurement, site teams, subcontractors, vendors and customers.
Key Responsibilities

A. Project Planning & Execution
Take complete ownership of assigned solar projects from project handover to commissioning and closure.
Prepare project execution plans, schedules and milestone trackers.
Plan manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements.
Ensure project activities are executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and timelines.




Monitor daily/weekly progress against planned targets.
Identify project delays and implement corrective actions.

B. Site Operations
Supervise and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, technicians and subcontractors.
Ensure proper execution of:
Module installation
MMS/structure installation
DC works
AC works
Inverter installation
Earthing & lightning protection
Cable laying & termination
LT/HT works
Transformer/HT panel works
SCADA/monitoring systems
Testing & commissioning
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve execution issues.

C. Manpower & Subcontractor Management
Allocate manpower according to project requirements.
Monitor productivity and utilization of manpower.
Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with agreed scope, rates and timelines.
Verify subcontractor work measurements before certification/payment.
