Reports To: Store Manager / Sales Manager

1. Job Summary

The Salesman is responsible for assisting customers, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable products, and providing an excellent shopping experience. The role also involves achieving sales targets and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly and professional assistance.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Explain product features, sizes, colours, prices, and available options.
- Assist customers in selecting products according to their requirements.
- Provide proper assistance during product trials and fitting when required.
- Maintain attractive and organized product displays.
- Keep the sales area clean, neat, and presentable.
- Handle customer enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Support billing and other store activities when required.
- Assist with stock checking, replenishment, and product arrangement.
- Take proper care of company products, equipment, and store property.
- Work towards achieving individual and store sales targets.
- Build good relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate effectively with the Store Manager and other team members.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, attendance rules, and instructions.
- Perform other sales and store-related duties assigned by the management.

1. Required Skills & Qualities

- Fluency in Malayalam is required.
- Valuable customer-handling and communication skills.
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Good convincing and selling skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements.
- Energetic, confident, and customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn about clothing, fashion, and company products.




- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Punctual, responsible, and disciplined.
- Passion for sales and providing good customer service.

1. Qualification & Experience

- Minimum qualification: SSLC / Plus Two or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in the clothing or fashion industry, is preferred.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply if they have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for sales and customer service.

1. Working Hours & Flexibility

- Working hours will be as per the Company's operational schedule and branch requirements.
- Employees may be required to work during weekends, festivals, wedding seasons, special occasions, and peak business periods based on operational requirements.
- During busy or peak periods, employees may be required to work beyond normal store hours, including late evenings or nights, subject to applicable labour laws and Company policy.
- Employees are expected to cooperate with the Company during peak business periods.

1. Salary

₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, communication ability, suitability for the role, and interview performance.

- Maintain proper product presentation.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional behaviour.
