Role Summary
A Salesforce Architect with Life Sciences domain expertise is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, regulatory, quality, and commercial operations while ensuring compliance with GxP, FDA, and data privacy regulations.
Why This Role Matters
This role is critical to ensure seamless support on RACT and SiFi application which are GxP and Crown Jewels applications respectively. Senior technical person is required to analyze existing issues and suggest to enhance these applications.
What You’ll Do
- “1. Lead Salesforce solution architecture and technical delivery across multiple releases. Define end-to-end architecture, ensure alignment with business and enterprise standards, and oversee the completion of project deliverables including solution design, technical specifications, integration architecture, deployment documentation, and technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Project Managers, developers, and cross-functional teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle. Manage Salesforce backlogs, define technical solutions, review user stories and acceptance criteria, provide architectural guidance, and support development, testing, and UAT activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead post-release support and hypercare by monitoring system health, integration performance, and production issues. Drive root cause analysis, impact assessments, emergency changes, deviations, and CAPAs while partnering with Development, Integration, Infrastructure, and Support teams to implement sustainable solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce L2/L3 support. Conduct solution demonstrations, technical knowledge transfer, and user enablement sessions. Review and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, release documentation,
and platform governance artifacts.
- Deliver operational excellence by implementing Salesforce platform best practices across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations. Act as the technical SME for Salesforce architecture, automation, security, data management, integrations, and reporting while driving continuous improvement, platform optimization, and innovation.
- Participate in architecture review boards, governance meetings, and stakeholder discussions to align technical solutions with business objectives. Provide regular project updates, own technical risks and issue resolution, and collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, and Validation teams to ensure compliance, system reliability, and successful project execution.

Must-Have Skills
- 12 years of experience in people management/team supervision in software development.
12 years of technical support experiences in Salesforce, SaaS architecture design, CRM workflow configurations, SQL and data integration. Ideally in biotech/pharma/CRO
- Proficiency with Salesforce data loader, workflow configurations, object permission setup, and MS Office.
- Prior experiences in design, build, test and deploy application configuration and integration changes using Salesforce’s Copado DevOps platform.
- Excellent documentation skills. Ability to analyze the business requirements and document system changes into design specifications, integration specification, installation procedures, and development summary report.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills”
Good to Have
- Salesforce Admin Certificate
- Prior experience in ServiceNow/SPARC, Azure, and IDM.
- Knowledge of GxP and Computer System Validation process.
