Role Description This remote volunteer Data Scientist role supports Outcome School’s mission by using data to improve learner outcomes, program design, and workforce alignment. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning,



and organizing data from learning platforms and partner organizations, performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends in learner performance and engagement, and building models or analytical frameworks to predict outcomes such as completion rates and employment metrics. The Data Scientist will create clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to educators, program leaders, and external partners, as well as develop metrics and experiments to evaluate and improve curricula and support services. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations that enhance training programs and hiring pathways.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust skills in Data Science and Data Analytics to design studies, build models, and interpret complex datasets.
