About the Role

Digvertise™ is looking for a Business Development Trainee to join us for an initial 90-day paid performance pilot.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to businesses, understanding their requirements, building relationships, and turning conversations into genuine business opportunities.

A basic working knowledge of digital marketing is required. You should understand the fundamentals of websites, SEO, social media marketing, online advertising, and lead generation. Deep technical expertise is not necessary.

We will train you on Digvertise services, client qualification, outreach approach, positioning, and our business development workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Research and identify potential business clients
• Connect with business owners and decision-makers through calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
• Understand business challenges and digital growth requirements
• Identify suitable digital marketing opportunities based on client needs
• Qualify genuine sales opportunities
• Schedule and support discovery meetings




• Maintain structured follow-ups with prospects
• Update lead status and notes in the assigned tracking system
• Coordinate with the Digvertise team during proposals and closures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Comfortable communicating in Marathi and Hindi
• Working proficiency in English
• Basic working knowledge of digital marketing
• Familiarity with websites, SEO, social media marketing, online advertising, and lead generation
• Understanding of the basic difference between organic and paid marketing
• Confidence in speaking with business owners and decision-makers
• Ability to understand a client’s business problem before pitching a solution
• Positive listening and requirement-discovery skills
• Consistent follow-up mindset
• Interest in sales, marketing, business development, and client acquisition
• Basic familiarity with WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and online re
