Two industry sponsored postdoctoral positions are available in the general area of polymer synthesis. The position requires close working with the respective industrial partner and may require slight travel as well. Interested applicants who have completed PhD with expertise on polymer or organic synthesis are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills related to polymer/organic synthesis, materials characterization, and protected handling of chemicals.
Candidates should possess Research skills, including experimental design, literature review, and scientific writing for publications and reports.
Must be familiar with common characterization and testing methods.
Ph.D. in Polymer or organic Chemistry
Demonstrated track record of research in polymer synthesis, evidenced by publications or patents.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience with advanced characterization techniques (e.g., NMR, GPC, DSC, FTIR, rheology) is an advantage.
