Position - Assistant Manager/ Manager - Sales

Location - Chennai

Role Summary - We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager in Weighing Automation to drive business growth and expand market presence. The role will focus on sales and marketing of industrial automation and weighing solutions including- weighing scales, weighing controllers, check weighers , bag filling machines, and weighing software. The candidate will be responsible for developing new markets, managing key accounts and leading sales initiatives across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Drive sales and marketing of machinery and automation products such as Weighing Controllers, Check Weighers, Bag Filling Machines, Liquid Filling Machines, Weighing Scales, and Weighing Software.
- Identify and develop new customers and markets to ensure long-term revenue growth.
- Strengthen the company’s presence in industries such as Weighing, Automation, OEM, Food, Agro, Pharma, and Chemicals.
- Develop strategies to expand the existing customer base and open new market segments

Key Account Management

- Develop and manage key accounts within the assigned territory.
- Build solid relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.




- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical and commercial solutions.

Technical & Commercial Sales

- Map client requirements and conduct technical discussions with customers, consultants, and project teams.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals in line with project specifications.
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams for project execution and customer support

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor degree in Engineering(Electrical, Electronics, Industrial or related field) preferred.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience:

- 6-12yearsofexperience in direct or channel sales.
- Candidates from industries such as industrial automation, weighing solutions, packaging machinery, OEMs, pharma chemicals or manufacturing will be preferred

Skills

- Strong experience in industrial automation or weighing solutions sales
- Good understanding of technical aspects of industrial equipment and automation systems
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability
