Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orchha, responsible for driving room, events, and F&B; revenue for Orchha Palace and Resorts. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing key corporate and travel trade accounts, and building strong relationships with partners, agencies, and event organizers. The role involves preparing sales proposals, negotiating contracts, conducting site inspections, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to design attractive packages and promotions.

The Sales

Manager will track sales performance, forecast revenue, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide regular reports to leadership.



This position also requires representing the property at trade shows, networking events, and local community initiatives to strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and account management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel sales, preferably in luxury or resort environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with guests, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and use CRM tools and MS Office applications.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet targets, and handle multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Comfort with in office work in Orchha and flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required by business needs.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a sales team is an advantage.
