Ability to lead and manage a team comprising Junior and Senior 3 D Designers along with 2 D Designers. Robust understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Proven capability to guide, mentor, and direct the design team towards achieving project objectives efficiently. Hands-on experience in 3 D design and 2 D drafting using Unigraphics (NX) or Solid Works, with expertise in Modeling, Surfacing, Drafting, and Assembly Design. Sound knowledge of plastic product design and development. Extensive experience in designing household and consumer plastic products such as casseroles, tiffins, jugs, jars, containers, water bottles, buckets, stools, PET bottles, and thermoware products. Basic understanding of plastic product tooling and mold design concepts. Positive knowledge of plastic materials, their properties, applications,



and selection criteria. Understanding of common plastic manufacturing defects and their corrective actions. Basic knowledge of sheet metal products, manufacturing processes, and tooling. Proficient in creating and interpreting 2 D engineering drawings, with working knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Ability to prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM). Familiarity with standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques. Knowledge of reverse engineering methodologies for plastic products. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
