Designation: Associate Project Engineer/Project Engineer
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create parametric Revit families for Mechanical Gensets, Enclosures, Base Frames, Doors, Exhaust Systems and related components.
- Develop accurate 3D Revit models and families based on manufacturer data, engineering drawings and AutoCAD drawings.
- Create and manage Parametric, Nested and Shared Families as per project and client requirements.
- Configure family parameters, materials, visibility controls, connectors and other BIM attributes.
- Perform detailed 3D modeling of genset systems and associated mechanical equipment in Revit.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure model accuracy, compliance with BIM standards and coordination with project requirements.
- Update and revise models based on engineering changes and client feedback.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering and Project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy between Revit models and AutoCAD drawings.
- Ensure adherence to company BIM standards, modeling guidelines and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Autodesk Revit Modeling and BIM.
- Strong knowledge of Revit Family Creation, Parametric Modeling, Nested Families and Shared Parameters.
- Experience working with mechanical equipment, gensets, enclosures or industrial products.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of BIM standards, model coordination and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills for interaction with engineering teams and clients.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturer data and technical specifications.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to model quality and accuracy.
