About the Role

We are an established industrial manufacturing organization looking to expand our human resources team at our manufacturing facility in Jammu. We are seeking a dynamic HR professional with a strong background in handling diverse workforce dynamics, specifically individuals with proven experience in the Jute or Tea plantation/processing industries.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection
- Workforce Handling: Manage day-to-day interactions, grievances, and engagement for both skilled factory operators and unskilled general labour.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for resolving shop-floor disputes, maintaining a harmonious and productive working environment.
- Attendance & Rota: Oversee shift planning, overtime calculations, and attendance tracking for a high-volume workforce.
- Lifecycle Management: Handle end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding,



induction, and daily attendance to final exit formalities and full & final (F&F;) settlements.
- Payroll Support: Maintain accurate monthly muster rolls, leave records, and structural inputs to ensure timely and error-free payroll processing.
- Contractor Management: Supervise third-party labour contractors to ensure adequate manpower supply and compliance with contract labour terms.

Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Background: Minimum 1-2 years of experience specifically within a Jute mill, Tea estate, or a similar labour-intensive processing industry is highly preferred.
- Education: MBA in HR, Master of Social Work (MSW), or a relevant post-graduate degree/diploma in Labor Welfare/Industrial Relations.
- Language Proficiency: Solid communication skills in Hindi; local language proficiency (Dogri or Punjabi) is a major plus for effectively interacting with shop-floor workers.
