Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Safety Officer.

The Safety

Officer will develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization. Daily responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, reviewing work practices, and advising teams on occupational health requirements and regulatory compliance. The role involves investigating incidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.

The Safety

Officer will coordinate and deliver safety training sessions, maintain safety documentation, and collaborate with management and remote teams to promote a strong safety culture.



The position also includes supporting security-related protocols to help safeguard people, information, and assets in a remote working environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident analysis, root-cause identification, and report writing.
- Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with experience designing and delivering safety awareness programs for diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Security awareness skills, including basic understanding of workplace and remote-work security practices.
- Relevant certifications or training in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA or equivalent) are beneficial.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in remote teams.
- Experience in a safety-related role in services, industrial, or corporate environments is an advantage.
- Ability to use digital tools for remote monitoring, reporting, and training, and a commitment to continuous career development in safety and compliance.
