Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser - Banarasi Sarees & Ethnic Wear who has strong knowledge of the Banarasi têxtile market, understands customer preferences, and can identify commercially successful products.

This role offers an opportunity to work directly with the founder in building a premium e-commerce brand from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- Source Banarasi sarees and ethnic wear from manufacturers, wholesalers, and suppliers.
- Identify new product trends, colours, fabrics, and designs suitable for online customers.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers across Varanasi and nearby têxtile clusters.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Evaluate products for design,



craftsmanship, finishing, and commercial viability.
- Coordinate product sampling and procurement.
- Prepare product specifications and pricing information.
- Assist with photoshoots by ensuring products are presentation-ready.
- Monitor market trends, competitor collections, and customer demand.
- Support inventory planning and replenishment decisions.
- Ensure consistent quality standards before products are listed online.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
